New sympathy and condolences cards to show them you care
8 August 2024
Express your sympathy, offer your condolences or simply send your best wishes with one of our new charity gift cards.
Our charity gifts collection now includes two brand new bespoke card designs which have been created especially for ActionAid supporters.
Each new card carries a thoughtful message so your personal gesture will let someone special know you’re thinking of them.
And by making a donation to ActionAid when you order your card, you’ll be standing with women and girls who are changing the world and building a better future.
Send a special message with your sympathy or condolences card
Whether you fund a seed kit, warm blankets, midwife support or even a pair of goats, choose the perfect gift from our full range to show your loved one you really know them.
Each new design is available as either a physical card to send through the post, or an e-card that you can send by email. Whichever option you choose, you can add your own personal message for the recipient to read.
If you order an e-card, you can send it straight away, or schedule it to arrive at the perfect time for your recipient to see in their inbox. If you order a printed card we can send it directly to the recipient on your behalf, with your message included, or we can post it to your address so you can add your own personal touch by hand before you forward it on to the recipient in the extra envelope provided.
Where your donation goes
Your donation could support women like Uzala, pictured below, the general secretary of a women farmers group in Ghoraghat, Bangladesh. Uzala began started farming when she obtained free seeds from ActionAid. She has been growing a variety of fruit and vegetables ever since.
Uzala explains: "I have always worked as a farmer. Now, because of the ActionAid training I have a better awareness of farming methods.
"The women farmers work together as a group. We grow vegetables so that we won’t have to buy them from the market. We use our own resourcefulness to find solutions."
