The scale of the crisis in Gaza is staggering.

Over 30,000 Palestinians have been killed since 7 October, 70% of whom are women and children.

Over 70,000 people have been injured, and 7,000 reported missing in the Gaza Strip, including 5,000 children. Around 70% of homes have been destroyed and the healthcare system is near collapse. Only 11 out of 36 hospitals are partially functional. These hospitals lack essential medical supplies such as anaesthesia, antibiotics and pain relief medications.

People are living in constant fear.  Nowhere is safe in Gaza.

ActionAid Palestine and our partners in Gaza and West Bank are courageously and persistently providing as much support as they can including distributing food and water, essential medical supplies and providing urgent psychosocial support for families in dire need, as well as fuel for hospital generators.

This Ramadan, donate your sadaqah and support ActionAid’s life-saving work in Gaza, and reap the rewards of this blessed month.

ActionAid in occupied Palestine territories

ActionAid has a history of responding to urgent needs in Gaza, having facilitated multiple emergency interventions in the past.

These interventions have focused on providing essential humanitarian assistance, including food, shelter, medicine, and dignity kits.

Since the escalation of violence on 7 October, a key priority for ActionAid has been to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues in Gaza who are reeling from bombardments, living in fear and under curfew.

Despite the ongoing terror, lack of humanitarian space and severe communication challenges, our partners have been working tirelessly in Gaza and the West Bank to support families affected by this devastating crisis.

We are currently working with 12 partners in Gaza and the West Bank to deliver our response to this crisis, including Al Awda Hospital and WEFAQ Association for Women and Childcare.
