Our Safeguarding Policy

The purpose of this Safeguarding Policy is to protect children and vulnerable adults from any harm that may be caused due to their coming into contact with ActionAid UK. It is also to inform staff, contractors and freelancers of their contractual and moral responsibilities to safeguard children, young people, and vulnerable adults in all areas of ActionAid’s work. 

This policy should be used in conjunction with ActionAid UK’s Safeguarding Protocol which provides further detail in implementing safeguarding policy in AAUK’s areas of operation.
