Request for Proposal: External Audit Services
We are looking for an auditing firm that has experience of carrying out annual audits of large INGOs, that can provide added value and support to AAUK, shares the values and culture that are important to AAUK and at a price that ensures value for money.
As a result of our company and charity status ActionAid are required to have an annual statutory audit of our financial statements and prepare an annual corporate tax return for HMRC. Our policies require us to tender for the services of external auditors every five years to ensure the process remains unbiased. Hence we are running an open tender for the provision of these services.

Our financial statements are prepared in accordance with Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS102) – (Charities SORP FRS102), the Financial reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS102) and the Companies Act 2006.
For the avoidance of doubt, the scope of this tender is for audit services for Action Aid UK and DOES NOT include any other member of the Action Aid federation.
