We are “deeply disappointed” that the UK has approved over 100 arms export licenses to Israel since the start of the war.
Responding to the news that the UK has approved over 100 arms export licenses since the start of the war to Israel, Ziad Issa, Head of Humanitarian Policy at ActionAid UK, said:
“We are deeply disappointed that the UK government has approved over 100 arms export licenses to Israel since October 7, 2023, amid the Gaza conflict. This includes equipment potentially used by the military, exacerbating civilian suffering. The UK must suspend these exports immediately and reassess its policies to ensure they do not contribute to further violence. Supporting peace and human rights must be our priority.”
